-Meeting brought to order 6:07 pm on August 26, 2008
-Treasures Report: Approved
-Color Guard: for the 9/5 game will be the Explorer Group from Minier.
-Spartan Night: was a sell out success! We sold out 200 chops by 7:30.
-Dinner for players: was voted and approved to purchase meals from Avanti’s. However, we still need sponsors for away games.
-To date we have the following sponsors: Signs of Success, Hopedale Medical Complex, and Dr. Keller.
-Flags: have been received. Kent will coordinate putting them up.
-Poster Schedules: Connie Schroeder will check into getting them updated.
-American Heart Association: The club had discussed have a fund raiser with the American Heart Association, it was decided to have canisters for collection during the home games, the collected money will then be donated to the American Heart Association at the end of the season.
-Touch Down Club: Rally towels have been ordered. The club voted and approved to sell towels this year.
-Fundraiser: 10/25 @ Minier Christian Church. Linda has spoken with Ted from Ted’s Garage in Clinton, Ted will be catering the fundraiser again this year. Our goal is to sell 150 tickets. At our next meeting we will finalize additional details for the event, such as the tickets, flyers and other communication pieces.
-Next meeting Wednesday Sept 10th, 6:00 in teachers lounge.
